Lovin the

So it has been a while since I have entered any news from the task force field....hahaha it sounds like we are in outer space!!! (sometimes I think we are)

I LOVE NEW YORK!!!!! Of all the places I didn't think I would like, this place is great. the people the hotel, the area, the work, everything is just wonderful and, if I could afford it, I would live here. Things are about twice as much as if I were back home in Texas but I really like the area. It doesn't hurt that our weather here is absolutely perfect....mid 80s and beautiful! I know that they have brutal winters but right now this is gorgeous!!!!! Well enough bragging, I will get on with my adventure. I had read things about here that had made me really apprehensious about coming here but when I arrived, the New GM welcomed me and welcomed my help with open arms and I have never felt so welcomed in my entire life! He is the greatest and I feel that the RDO also had a lot to do with my welcome! Anyways, we have been very busy with training, learning, and putting out fires all at once.....He is the master of multi tasking!

Enough bragging about my luck of the draw here, I am getting ready to move on to my next stop in the NE Summer tour!!! LOL :p I have one more week here then off to Boston. I just hope I like all of them as much as I do these people here in NY!

Hema, Thanks once again for getting this blog up and running even if we are the only ones that put stuff on it, we are at least chatting between friends.....when you get your new job, you probably won't want to even bother blogging with the simple folk on the task force!

Signing off for now in Beautiful White Plains New York!!!

Wow! Six weeks in Pennsylvania......(I didn't even know how to spell that last year) It has been a long time and I am ready to go home for a while and just chill in East Texas. I love the area and for the most part the people are great. There are nice people wherever you go, you have to search sometimes but they are there. I think all of our travels give us the opportunity to search for the nice people and bond with them to help us with our job! As we are leaving our assignments and taking a few days to download, I wanted to make sure that PA was represented in the blog. Will post pictures as soon as I can.

Hema is in Montana now!

Ok so I made it to Great Falls, Montana. Its quite a challenge to fly here as there are only a few airlines that serve this dainty, little, International Airport!!!!!!! The location of the ESA is very picturesque...beside a river:) ...so I will take pics and post them sometime. Anyway, coming from CA where I went to and from 4 hotels, this will be a much, much slower pace.....I can tell already. Went to get groceries at Wal Mart....Sunday drivers all along the way.....then I find Sunday shoppers in Wal Mart too! Big change from the Bay area. But I like it:)

Yay!!! I posted my first picture.
Cassi and I took a road trip to Dallas one weekend in March while we were assigned to OKC. This is a bronze of the longhorns in downtown. They are ginormous! It was a good weekend and a fun time with Miss Cassi!

Saturday-

I have been so used to working on Saturdays that I am lost today with the full time GSR very capable of taking care of the hotel and I am kind of thinking that she doesn't want me here. I think that just from the short time I have been here the AGM and ftgsr need to change places. Already the AGM has called off sick! Me thinks its gonna be a long 12 weeks. I want to try and post some pictures of what I took in California and Oklahoma....love the ocean and got some pics of Cassi when we took a break. I might need some help doing that though!

What a rainy day!!! I got out of Dallas before they stopped air travel because of rain and storms. I am in the Memphis airport waiting on a flight to Detroit before I end the day at Allentown, PA. Kind of a round about way to get there but it was cheap!!!! That is the name of the game these days and in talking to Hema, I am going to try to look for different flights from TX rather than just in and out of Dallas! Good idea Hema! Well I guess I will go ahead and leave you for now!
